They accidentally gave an ebi tempura with the “sushi selection from the chef” that was supposed to be gluten free by the tags mentioned on the menu and asked for gluten free. So watch out, they do have gluten free soja sauce, waiter was really sweet and did tell the chef so I don’t know where or how it went wrong.

I saw online they had mentioned all the dishes that contained gluten with the A and there were many options without the gluten & they mention they make everything fresh so it’s gluten free safe.

We ordered the gluten free special sushi selection from the chef and mentioned my celiac even though it said nothing would contain gluten.

The waiter gave me the gluten free soja sauce bottle which was great and what I hoped for. When the food came there was a little salad with dressing and he mentioned just in time that wasn’t glutenfree so I quickly gave it to my sister.

The staff was friendly and the sushi tasted & looked amazing! Sadly I quickly noticed 4 pieces with shrimp tempura. I asked the waiter if the sushi was gluten free and he said yes and he let the chef make everything gluten free from the sushi.

I asked if the tempura was made of wheat flower or a gluten free alternative but he sadly had to tell me he was afraid it wasn’t gluten free wheat flower.

So maybe it was a mistake maybe they don’t know what contains gluten. The waiter did his best. And I hope they will be aware of it now.
