Lobster Dogs

A food truck franchise that specializes in Lobster rolls, but has an option for “stuffed” avocados with lobster on top. Food was as advertised but not what you might hope for given the ingredients. Lobster must have been boiled a long way from the sea — totally flavorless. Avocado was chunks of the low-fat Florida (non-Hass) kind. I was embarrassed I’d asked my boyfriend to take me there. Not much flavor for $16 a snack-size plate. The staff was friendly and understood gluten questions. I just think many people taste what the menu says and not what they’re served. There are bunch of Yelp reviews from other locations. They all talk about how good the buttery bread was and the butter sauce sauce on the lobster roll... so there’s that.
