Okay, when I read that this restaurant could accommodate people with celiac, I said let's give it a go. It was my wife's birthday and I wanted it to be special. So, I want people to know I have a severe condition of celiac, I did not get sick at Local Chops & House Grill. I have 9 out of the 15 major symptoms of celiac and it's literally SUCKS!! My wife and I are not just foodie people, we have worked with famous 3 star chefs from NY & CA. First, when you make reservations use OpenTable and message the restaurant ahead of time of your dietary needs. This helped tremendously. Our waitress Lauren was one, completely aware of my celiac and provided amazing service. Two, she was knowledgeable and so attentive. This made the whole experience stress free. How can I say this... I don't like being "Meg Ryan" in When Harry met Sally!! Most items on the menu can be prepared gluten-free. Dedicated Duck fat fried French fries!!! The BEST French fries I ever have had!! Fried Green tomatoes (Yes! GF!!) Pork belly....OMG, I WENT TO HEAVEN! YUM Xs 1000! Flourless chocolate cake with a raspberry reduction sauce. Yes, dessert doesn't seem spectacular, but coupled with all the other food to choose from and not getting sick nor having the stress was a 5+ star experience. When you make your reservation, request Lauren and say Dave recommended you. Cheers! Enjoy!!

Food was great and my waitress reassured me that precautions would be taken to avoid any cross contamination.

Amazing! The food was phenomenal and the staff was so helpful. Nearly everything on the menu was gluten free except a couple things. My steak was so delicious. I highly recommend!!

I ate here for a company Christmas party and it was my first experience. The server took incredibly good care of me - he walked me through the entire menu and explained what was gluten free as-is, what would be gluten free with a minor change (no croutons, no bread on side) and emphasized that their chefs prepare everything from scratch so he could ensure it would be made safe. I felt comfortable and the meal was incredible. I was able to eat all four courses - appetizer, soup, meal, and dessert. I will be back!
