I had the machaca for breakfast. I gave my server my allergy translation card (English/Spanish) ti take to the kitchen. I could not eat the chips or rice. But my machaca and beans was plenty.
— Somewhat
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Some
— Excellent
Just left this place and I will not be returning. The server was very rude. It was like I was wasting his time by mentioning my Celiac. His words, “Vegetables and corn are Gluten Free so that’s what you can have”. That was pretty much all the information that I got. Got Ground Beef tacos awful! The ground beef was so watery the tortillas were soggy and it looked like mush.
The staff was very knowledgeable regarding the gluten free options on the menu. The tortilla chips are not gluten free as their deep fryer is not a dedicated gluten free fryer, but their regular corn tortillas are. I had the street tacos with beans and the flavor was quite good. My non-gluten free companions thought the food was excellent.
