Loews Coronado Bay Resort

For a conference center, I was really disappointed in their ability to meet our daughter's needs. Arrived to hotel late evening, didn't want to take the kids out exploring as we were adjusting to the time change so thought the hotel would surely be able to prep something. Asked waiter to speak directly with the manager. Someone different came to the table, not the chef and not sure it was actually a manager. Seemed puzzled or overwhelmed by request to know what might be options. Asked about chicken, steak, burger, veges, fruits. Basically, when responded to with the "deer in headlight" eyes, I asked if we could simply get a safe burger patty with cheese and side of strawberries (I fortunately had a homemade GF, egg free bun in my bag) and was finally assured that could be prepared safely. Can't believe a major place for conferences in a larger city could be so poorly prepared to handle such requests. Expected this more at one of the small local restaurants. Burger turned out fine and no reactions but definitely not recommend. Menu was limited in general, especially for kids!
