I do not recommend this establishment to anyone with Celiac Disease or gluten sensitivity. The waitress told me their GF menus were very outdated, but that I could order pretty much anything without the dips or sauces. We didn't stick around to even try to order. This had disaster spelled all over it. I hesitated to even give it one star.
I have tried this restaurant twice since I've been gluten free. The first experience was bad and the second (2 years later because I thought I'd give them one more chance) was worse! Their "gf menu" is a joke--They include dairy items such as sour cream, so they clearly don't understand what gluten really is. They recommend ordering all items with no spice or sauce so everything is dry and bland. My second time there, I specifically ordered everything the way their gf menu suggested and they brought out a regular plate with their gluten filled rice pilaf! NEVER again will I try this restaurant!
Staff was not friendly to my daughters food allergies. Was getting very frustrated with our questioning the menu. Would not eat here again and would not recommend

My husband has celiac disease and I am gluten intolerant and we love going to Lone Star in Knightdale! They offer an extensive gluten free menu, they are always sensitive to our needs, and we have never been glutened eating here! Our only request for them would be to offer a gluten free prime rib, my husband's favorite, as well as offering gluten free bread and desserts,
