This restaurant is one of my top 3 choices to eat locally. There's a wonderful woman there that will guide you thru ordering with your waitress or waiter. I order the ribs without barbecue sauce but with the 7 pepper rub/seasoning and my sides are either a romaine salad or the sweet potato with cinnamon and sugar.
this longhorn used to be good but the current general manager, Cindy, has no idea what gluten is. we ordered from the gf menu and they got one of our meals wrong. she came out to argue with us about the seasoning on the steak. we almost walked out. it was terrible and her ignorance with regards to their gf menu was unbelievable. I don't recommend this.
Per the allergen list they have a large selection of items that do not contain wheat. I ate there and had a great meal and had no adverse reactions. Did not specifically ask if they had a dedicated gluten free area though. When I find out more info from them the next time I go I will update my review.
I had a really hard time deciding how to rate the restaurant. We arrived as a part of 12, and were told it would be 25 minutes. We were told at some point the table would be ready in a minute, and somehow, some other party of 12 that arrived after us was seated instead. We ended up waiting an hour. The manager was apologetic, and said we would have 2 wait staff assigned to get us taken care of right away when we were seated. It still took multiple requests to get kids menus (we had 5 with us!) and multiple more requests to get adult silverware. My glass of wine came on with lipstick on it, and the special order for my 2 year olds niece, who also had a severe wheat allergy, came out with the bun, even though the server promised she'd make sure it was identified as a GF meal without the bun. Again, the manager was very apologetic and brought me a new glass of wine that looked like it had been spit-shined just for me right away. It seemed like the 2 waitresses assigned our table were squabbling and bickering with each other. On the other hand, my steak was perfect and no one had any complaints about the food. My niece didn't feel great that night, but I did just fine. I think that maybe the staff/manager was new or something, but they REALLY need to work on their interpersonal communication. I also found it interesting that even after all the mistakes that were made, our party of 12 still paid full price for everything.
I'm gluten sensitive and they did an amazing job accommodating me in Nashua restaurant. Waitress asked me to list all my allergies and said she'd ring them all in register. She accidentally gave me a potato with dairy and apologized profusely. I told her I didn't have true allergy, but manager brought new potato and coupon for free appetizer. Separate gfree menu with lots of choices. Shrimp and sirloin was amazing and had lots of flavor.
Have eaten here several times for lunch and dinner both. I am gluten intolerant. They have a large binder showing what is GF. They don't have a separate kitchen but they seem knowledgeable and understand when you say you are GF. I have never gotten sick here. Will continue to visit this location.
LongHorn Steakhouse has a fairly extensive gluten-free menu. The items were clearly labeled and suggested ways to make meals gluten-free (like salads and certain burgers). I ordered a steak with mashed potatoes. It was a little concerning when the waitress said "this is the first time I've dealt with a gluten allergy." However, I didn't get sick from the food. I would not return to LongHorn steakhouse in Humble any time soon though - the service was extremely slow and the steaks weren't as tender as I had hoped.
Excellent service. Ask for the allergy menu.
I ate here for my birthday and everything was perfect. Everyone I spoke too was very knowledgeable and helped me pick what was safe. I was recently diagnosed with Celiac so when I found out I could still eat at my favorite restaurant I was very excited. The steak was cooked perfectly too!! They cooked everything in separate pans and made sure there was no cross contamination.
They are gluten-free, so have a disclaimer. But good steaks, etcm
I had visit the restaurant few times a month. The waitress staff give you the impression that they don't care about the Gluten Free menu! They need more training on the particular. Last time I went there 7/6/14 I got sick!!!
Smelly and dirty. Were not very helpful, watress looked like she dkept in her clothes and at the end I killed a roach. Don't stop there
