My partner and I went here for dinner service, on a busy Saturday night, and everything was great. Our server took the time to walk us through the celiac friendly options on the menu and cautioned us away from those we were considering that wouldn’t be safe (sorry patatas bravas, miss you). We got peras (phenomenal—goat cheese and fruit), egg tortilla, championes (trumpet mushrooms with fried leeks removed) and the pulpo. Feeling great today, no symptoms. Def recommend!

There is no gluten free menu but when we mentioned to our server that I was celiac he said it would be no problem and was able to point out many menu options and how they could be modified. We ordered the carpaccio de carne and almejas which were both so delicious. The mariscos paella was okay; my husband liked it but it was much too salty for my taste. My husband got a mezcal cocktail with cilantro that was super yummy, my sangria was average. The outdoor patio seating and ambiance was lovely- it was a great spot for a special occasion dinner.

Our waitress was extremely familiar with celiac and very accommodating. She took the menu and marked everything I was able to have and took it very serious. This made my dining experience much less stressful! Everything we ate was fantastic but it is good to know ahead that tapas are small portions and it was a bit more expensive than other restaurants in the area.

This place is a must-visit if you’re in Santa Barbara. They aren’t a gluten free facility, but most of the menu (including the cheesecake!) is gluten free or can be made gluten free. The hostess and our server were both extremely knowledgeable about allergies and took it seriously, which really set my mind at ease. It was a lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious!!

You HAVE to come here if you are in SB. Absolutely delicious food and waiters are so so conscious about allergies. My waitress immediately took my menu and marked up everything I could eat, everything to modify (ie without bread), and things I couldn’t have. It was so sweet and she was so helpful!!! And the sangria was delicious too. Felt so safe & did not feel sick.

We have eaten here many times. Their knowledge and care for us with celiac is truly impressive. From the receptionist to the service staff to the kitchen, everyone is well informed, understands the difference between simple gluten free and gluten free with no cross contact. When we make our reservation, we let them know that one or two of us has celiac disease. The receptionist tells us when we arrive that she has already alerted the kitchen. The server either already knows what foods are safe or double checks with the kitchen if they aren't positive. They also take a menu and mark what is safe for us to eat. What a pleasure! And the food is so, so delicious!

Great Spanish food in a really picturesque dining room/patio. Waiters are very knowledgeable about allergies and most of the menu is gluten free. Really tasty and good serving sizes.

We love Loquita!! They are very accommodating for gluten free and dairy freeze. We often let one server or the chef decide what we should eat as long as it is GF/DF. I have celiac and also am dairy free. The items are family style and made to share- so its easiest if all items are gf at the table.

The staff here is very knowledgeable about which dishes are gluten free or can be prepared gluten free. The chef has several food allergies and was very attentive to my husband’s need to have food prepared safely for a Celiac. We had an amazing meal with 3 delicious tapas (beer salad, Spanish tortilla and tiger prawns) along with the chicken and chorizo paella. The dinner was really outstanding and most importantly, my husband didn’t get sick.
