My husband and I chanced upon this delightful place tucked in Piazza Carmini, very close to the Chiesa. It was decorated quite interestingly and tastefully. We were warmly greeted by Magdalena who was very charming and accommodating, despite our not having made a reservation. It is quite unusual to find a restaurant that is both gluten-free and vegetarian. The food was delicious, of generous portions and very reasonably priced. We shared a starter of potato polenta and mushrooms; my husband’s main course was the beetroot and Gorgonzola risotto with a glass of red wine and cheesecake with chocolate for dessert; I had the tortellini, which was stuffed with dried tomatoes, in squash sauce and a tiramisu. We both enjoyed our choices and would have loved to return had it not been closed on a Monday (we left on Tuesday). We highly recommend this restaurant and would suggest that you make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

100% gluten free and vegetarian! Wonderful place
Everything on the menu was gluten free, including bread basket, and staff were very reassuring. Food was brilliant and decent value. Also great for vegetarian and vegan.
Amazing. The entire place was 100% gluten free and vegetarian (easily made vegan for most dishes.) Food was fresh and tasty. A must if you’re in Florence even if you’re not vegetarian.
