Lovebirds - Contemporary Pizza

Ik begrijp niet dat mensen zo enthousiast zijn over deze pizza’s! Ik had de pizza margaritha en vond hem werkelijk echt niet te eten en ik ben echt niet moeilijk, vaak juist al blij dat er wat glutenvrij te vinden is. De bodem was enorm taai en de topping was spaghettisaus met echt heel weinig kaas er op, de meeste stukken zonder kaas en alleen saus. Wat een teleurstelling. Ook de pizza s voor de rest van mijn gezin trouwens, die waren ook teleurstellend. De glutenvrije pizza uit de supermarkt is veel lekkerder dan dit! En ook de prijzen zijn hoog, voor een echt lekkere pizza maakt het ons echt niet uit wat hij kost, maar voor deze slechte pizza s was het echt veel te duur!

Absolutely delicious pizza. I asked for my own choice of toppings as I am allergic to tomatoes and a vegetarian and they were super accommodating!

Easily one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten and the crust is indistinguishable from a gluten crust. Flavorful, wonderful texture, crunchy, and doughy.

The staff are really friendly too!

The Pizza was delicious. They serve every Pizza variation also gluten-free. Also cute atmosphere. Only thing was that the prices were quite high.

This place is not safe for Celiacs :(

I asked to the restaurant and they told me that can't guarantee traces of gluten + crossed contamination since they use products containing gluten. This is their answer:

"Hey Laura ☺we can unfortunately never rule out small traces of gluten, as we also use products containing gluten in addition to the gluten-free pizza. We produce the gluten-free pizzas separately one day a week after thorough cleanings - after baking, the pizzas are frozen in our blast freezer and stored separately. For orders, we bake the pizzas on extra round trays to minimise the risk of contact. Best regards, Lovebirds 🍕"

Pizza here is really really good, the dough is so crispy and fluffy! You can customize every pizza with gluten free dough (+4€), for the pre made pizzas you can order per slice I'm not so sure though. They have to vegan pizzas or you can swap out the dairy cheese for vegan cheese if you want. Went there two times already and feel very safe about it.

One of the best pizzas I’ve had since being diagnosed! They have a separate oven for Gf pizzas, unsure if separate ingredients too. My food wasn’t marked GF but it looked different from the gluten pizzas being brought out. Have a small bite to my non-celiac mom who could barely tell that it was gluten free. Every pizza is available with a GF crust but salads are brought out with gluten focaccia

Not safe, they have different ovens but they manipulate the pizzas in the same counter. Cross contamination present, I had a GF pizza and it was really good but felt terrible afterwards

The GF pizza is made in a separate oven after ordering it (they have normal pizzas slices to sell in the counter, but they don't mix them). They have really tasty and creative options compared to regular pizza places. The dough was fresh and yummy. I'm not sure how it is for celiacs, but I was fine with my intolerance.

This is THE best gluten free pizza I've ever had!!! I found eating gluten free in Berlin to be challenging so this was such an amazing find. I had the Flora which was so delicious and fresh with beautiful presentation. I was alone and couldn't finish it all which felt like a crime! Thw homemade raspberry lemonade was also amazing. Highly recommend!

Excellent! I had the GF veggie pizza and it came with a delicious mozzarella ball and beautiful flower petals. It was so enjoyable! This isn't a dedicated GF place but they take precautions and understand (most places I went in Berlin didn't understand celiac and sent me to vegan options).
