Review of Lucky Bones Backwater Grille

Disappointing visit. Waitress seemed untrained to explain the protocols for preventing cross contamination. Couldn’t answer question about how grilled chicken was prepared but just responded with a general, “we have a lot of protocols like the orange napkins and plates for people who cannot have gluten.”Nonetheless she proceeds to bring out the alleged GF Mac n cheese for my celiac kiddo NOT on an orange plate. So I ask her where the orange plate is, and she just says, “I literally just made this myself.. it’s gluten free.” Not instilling a lot of confidence.

I personally don’t have dairy and when I wanted a DF salad dressing that seemed to be another blind spot not just for the waitress but even the manager. What they claimed was DF seemed awfully creamy to me … and after all that truthfully the Mac n cheese wasn’t very good according to the people in my family who do eat dairy. Just think they can do better. Really going to think twice before going back.
