Lucky Dragon Restaurant

Went to this restaurant based on a previous FMGF recommendation. The employee taking our order knew what we were talking about when we mentioned gluten free options, but he had trouble telling us everything on the menu that could be prepared safely. Basically all he said we could eat was fried rice and steamed vegetables with chicken. We tried both and neither were great. The previous recommendation mentioned gluten free soy sauce, however, our fried rice was not fried with any soy sauce. When asked about other possible options, we were told the sauce could not be prepared safely. This is not somewhere I would want to return to or trust again, and the limited options do not make it worthwhile.

There is not a dedicated menu, on a whim I walked in and asked if they had GF options, appetizers are out as are the wheat noodles... But much of what they prepare fresh can be adjusted to be gluten free. They even sent me home with a take away container of GF soy sauce. I will definitely be back.
