The food was amazing and our waiter was very knowledgeable on GF. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Very good food. Good gluten free choices and a couple vegan choices.
I eat here often, and they are quite helpful with the menu (although unmarked). I have never been sick from Lugano’s. The waiters are very responsive to my cross contamination concerns.

The gluten free bread that is offered before the meal was a pizza crust cut up into slices and they charge $3 for it while non gluten free bread is served for free. The pasta was so under cooked and when I asked for it to be made again the second time the pasta was still undercooked.

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. There’s a separate oven for gf pizza, they go through a lot to avoid cross contamination. I felt safe eating here and the food was excellent.

I love their gf pizza. It’s super yum and they do cook in a dedicated oven. I’ve also had their pasta dishes, which were okay. They tasted good, but I did have a stomach ache after. Not sure if that was from possible gluten or something else.

The restaurant was very knowledgeable about gluten free. Most of the meals can be made gluten free. The salmon and shrimp dish and the rigatoni with meat sauce were great. The cappelini do mare was not good. Overall we all felt safe eating here.

The best. We have been eating here for probably 15 years. Good gluten free options with pasta, pizza, salad, entrees and even bread (pizza crust with olive oil and herbs- delicious!)

We had such a knowledgeable server… described exactly what could be made GF and what couldn’t. Felt very safe eating here, and my sensitive celiac child did not react. Will definitely go back!

This place was great! No gf menu but almost everything on the menu can be prepared gf. I had eggplant parmigiana and pasta. Delicious. They had some of the best gf bread I’ve ever had-flat pita like but tasty. Highly recommend.

I was really looking forward to eating here based on the ratings. We went on a Saturday, before the dinner rush and our waiter was very kind and attentive. Unfortunately, mid meal, I started to suffer from signs of cross contamination. It’s been 5 days and my body is still struggling. If you have celiac disease, be careful. I know some people have had no issues, but there is always a chance.
No
My husband and I both wish this place was in our home state. I had the parmesan lugano chicken, expecting less flavorful, drier chicken. I was wrong. It was delicious with flavorful chicken. My husband raved about his (gluten-ful) lasagne as well. Waiter was polite and attentive. - highly recommend.
I have been eating successfully at this restaurant probably for 7 years? They have a separate gluten free menu, and the kitchen and serving staff are very knowledgeable. I’ve never gotten sick. They even have gluten free bread (which is there pizza crust) but who cares because it’s so good with their infused olive oil. I usually get the farfele alfredo. I might be spelling it wrong. But it’s Alfredo sauce with chicken, ham, peas, onions and peppers. I ordered it by accident one time, but it was the best mistake because it’s amazing. Highly recommend!!!

UPDATE: Because of what happened the server was actually fired shortly after. The manager did inform us that the staff goes through several hours of training on allergies, especially on gluten. They have never had an issue for 5 years and mine was the very first incident; Because of everything I will absolutely give them another try.
Beware of the server Nicolas. Stated I could not have the bread , and he stated they have GF bread he could bring out to me.
I then ordered one of the pizzas from the GF menu, which he entered as a regular pizza. It was not until I mentioned how “great tasting” the GF pizza was (after eating half) that he told me he did not enter it as GF.
How in the world do you tell me that you have GF bread and then put the order in for regular!?!?
Wait staff just don’t care is how.
My wife loved the salmon

Staff was very knowledgable, gf menu, they take allergies very seriously- delicious gf bread, grilled chicken Parmesan with gf pasta and gf balsamic chicken both delicious.

They have a lot of gluten-free options. The bread that came with dinner was just okay, a version of their pizza crust. They customized something for my husband and the server was extremely helpful. My husband is also dairy free and it took a bit of work to come up with something. He said it was very good.

Very attentive to gf. One of my husband's favorite area restaurants. safe and tasty!
I was visiting here and looking for a good celiac friendly place. I read previous reviews and looked at menu. I decided to give it a try. It was as good as all the reviews said it was. I finally was able to eat bread (gluten free) with the rest of the table and I asked for more during dinner. Definitely recommend this place!

This place is one of our favorites. Excellent food, a separate GF menu with many options and the GF bread prior to your entree is amazing.
Had perfectly cooked gluten-free potato crusted fish. Dinner was delicious.
Nobody got sick and the decor and service was pleasant. For the money, the food just disappoints. My meal utilized gluten free (gf) spaghetti which was so mushy and short that it was all but impossible to eat with a fork. My companion had gf Alfredo which looked and tasted like the childhood mystery, a la King. It was also served over gf elbow pasta, like a child's meal. My son had the same gf elbows under a mac & cheese which he liked but he gave his pepperoni pizza a 2 out of 10. We enjoyed our wine but the glasses were pricy and the food was expensive considering the poor quality.

This is our favorite nice restaurant for gf! I love the Alfredo. Many other options on the gf menu. They bring gf bread to the table. Creme brûlée for dessert.
Yes
Good GF pasta dishes. Also have pizza, but I have not tried it get.

GGreat gf food. I had the potato crusted cod with a salad. My husband had the gf pasta Alfredo. All of it was great. Gf bread too. It's actually the pizza crust but very good. Service was great too.
