Lugia's Ice Cream

HANDS DOWN - A ROCHESTER WARM WEATHER STAPLE !I love ice cream - but as someone who has celiac and cannot have dairy - going "out" for ice cream is quite difficult and often leaves me left out watching everyone else enjoy, while I have no options.LUGIA HAS MULTIPLE VEGAN OPTIONS THAT ARE ALSO GLUTEN FREE - I had the pleasure of speaking with one of the owner's GIA on the phone and she was AMAZING - she spent at least 10 minutes on the phone with me - detailing all the vegan options, and then all the vegan options that were ALSO GF as well - she even told me I could do a custom cake order - of GF DF if I gave notice :) It's rare to find an ice cream place that caters to allergies, and even MORE rare to find one that has SO many options - I always feel safe and secure when I order here - they follow an allergy protocol - change gloves, and even will scoop with new scoopers or a bin if I ask BUT I usually get the pineapple swirl so no scooping necessary!Prices are reasonable and the portions are HUGE - a must try!
