This restaurant’s website states that they had Gf crusts prepared off site, combined with reviews here, I walked in feeling confident.

That feelings didn’t last long. The server had no idea what gluten was. She thought the Gf pizza crust was made on site, so we were about to leave, but she went back to ask. She said they said it was prepared elsewhere.

They offer a Gf crust and a separate cauliflower crust on their website, but I was only offered the cauliflower one. My server couldn’t answer basic questions because the info about Gf food was on the website, not the menu. I had to show her.

I asked her to put a large allergy alert for gluten on the order. I get celiac isn’t an allergy, but it gets their attention.

The chef came out to ask me what I was allergic to. I said I have an autoimmune disease and react to gluten. He said, “ok, but what’s in that?” I realized he didn’t know what gluten was at a restaurant that advertises gluten free. Yikes.

I told him primarily, wheat, barely and rye. To be honest we should have left but it was my only local option and I was hungry. I was shaking from anxiety by the time my food came.

I did what I always do at questionable locations. I ate a tiny bit of food, chewed really well and drank a lot of water, in case it all came back up.

The good news is that I did not get sick but I absolutely would not call this place celiac friendly, since no one really knew what gluten was.

The service is good and the pizza is great. On Mondays it half price and the drinks are 2 for 1 everyday. Great place to enjoy some pizza. The GF pizza is made on special crust that is baked in a Owen along with other dishes. Me and my wife have neither suffered from contamination. We have been GF for 12 years.

Very good thin crust gf pizza. They will top it with your choice of toppings. Even better - they qualify for the 1/2 price on Monday!

Gluten Free Pizza was great nice crisp crust.

Yes, they offer gluten free pizza but these people are not celiac aware. I ordered a GF white pizza with eggplant and the eggplant came breaded! Are you kidding me?? Just because a place offers GF food, doesn't mean they know what they are doing. Be careful here.
