Good variety of gluten free options. Waiter was very knowledgeable. Plate was delivered with assurances from the back it’s gluten free. Didn’t get sick afterwards and the food was delicious. I highly recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about Lulus. They have an entire gluten free menu and are always so helpful with accommodating my dietary restrictions. This is hands down the best place to get pad Thai!

We used to eat gluten free here 10 years ago, and we just ate here again and it is still amazing! So many excellent choices -- I've never had anything here I didn't like. They have a large gluten free menu including appetizers and soups. They also have GF soy sauce on request.

Never had any issues! Their gf fried rice is BOMB and I love that you can choose your spice level. And it’s easy to order takeout. My non gf boyfriend is able to get non-gf food and we can easily both eat here

I’ve eaten here 4-5 times and their other location once. They have a separate menu for GF and one for vegetarians. They always seem very accommodating and understanding. I’ve never gotten sick here before.🤞 I always order the regular Pad Thai. Their dishes tend to run milder compared to other thai places in the area, so if you like it spicy, you may need to order it hotter than you normally would. My partner is dairy free, so this place is perfect for both of us.

While I have eaten here before, the last two times I did, I was glutened. The food is tasty, but I cannot risk being sick another time.

I love getting their chicken Pad Thai and never had a reaction until today. I always order and say that I have a gluten allergy.
I’m in so much pain and would not recommend eating there again. I’m not sure how it happened but something with gluten touched my food.

We’ve have been getting take out from here all quarantine. They have a gluten free menu, use tamari as a replacement and many of their dishes are naturally gf. They are excellent, highly recommend.

They understand gluten free. Both my friend and myself have celiac and neither of us got sick. We had loose leaf tea, drunken noodles and the salad with a peanut ginger sauce. Everything was amazing! There is a gluten free menu and it has many options!
Yes
I’ve eaten here twice in the past few months and had delicious drunken noodles and spring rolls. The staff seemed very knowledgeable. I was so happy to be able to enjoy some Thai food!
Yes
I really enjoyed this place - I had tons of options on a dedicated GF menu - they even asked if there were any food allergies in our group as we walked in before getting seated. My food was good, not the most authentic or spiciest (as requested) but I would still come back if were in KC again.
Yes
They offer a gluten free menu and a celiac friendly menu! I have eaten here more times than I can count and have never been sick after. I order the drunken noodles and sometimes the spring rolls. Love this place! Side note, service is much better here than at their Westwood location, but I almost always order take out.
Yes
I recently discovered the drunken noodles I used to love before going cutting gluten from my diet are normally gluten free as is! This place has a pretty nice sized menu and helpful staff, definitely give it a try!
As others have said, there is a separate gluten free menu. We have been here numerous times and have not gotten ill.
Gluten free menu. Celiacs - there is not a desperate fryer. But other than that- the staff is very knowledgeable, aware and friendly assisting in questions. I feel very safe eating here! And delicious to boot!

When my friends visit KC I ALWAYS take them here. Incredible Asian food and they have a great gf menu with tons of options! Also, great cocktails! Get the Tigerlily.

The food is soooo delicious. Most foods on the menu are already GF. But they will work with you to make substitutions and meet your needs. Separate GF menu. Fun atmosphere!
Yes
They have a huge gluten free menu and everything I ate was so good. The sauce for the spring rolls is amazing and my drunken noodles had a lot of flavor. I also ate the Thai hot wings which were delicious (and if you get 4 wings you’re getting 4 FULL wings so it’s actually like getting 8 wings at most places) but I had a panic because I forgot to ask if they were fried separately after ordering and eating them (obviously dumb on my part), but everything seems to be fine today. I would ask to clarify if you order them though, I may have just gotten lucky. Half way through the meal, our waitress changed and the new one must have known that I was GF because she specified before I asked that I could eat the fortune cookies, so there’s good communication there!
Yes
Most items on the menu are gluten free but the specific gluten free menu made it very clear what substitutions to make. I had the drunken noodles—yummy and no issues. The waiter was nice and said he’s tell the kitchen staff I’m gluten intolerant (a tiny bit annoying because I specifically said “I had celiac disease” but I know that’s just semantics).
Yes
They get it. Plain and simple. Separate menu with TONS of options, many of which did not need any modifications to be made GF. I ordered off of the GF menu, but our knowledgeable server informed me that if I wanted to taste my husband's dish, I could do so safely, as his was GF too - even though he has no gluten issues. These days I really appreciate an educated staff when it comes to these things. Almost as importantly, the food was delicious and the price very reasonable. Will definitely be back.

I was very impressed with Lulu's. The spring rolls are huge and taste great!

I felt very comfortable here. dedicated menu with substitutions listed if needed. The pad Thai was great. I didn't care for the blazing wok bowl as it was only hot and I didn't taste any other depth. Others may want this, but it just wasn't for me.
MANY of their items can be made gluten free - just by using a different brand of soy sauce. A GREAT restaurant.

great fast service. so many chioces on their celiac menu. medium on the spice was plenty hot
I've eaten here a billion times over the years and I only barely recommend it. Years ago, I loved it when gf items were scarce. But I've had shoddy service, gotten glutened more than once, and had a waitress huff at me about wanting some extra tamari. The food isn't consistent in quality or spice level and the service is spotty at best. You also risk getting glutened, depending on what you order. Go to Sweet Siam on the Kansas side instead.
No
The food was decent. Not the best Thai I've ever had. We ordered the mango sticky rice for dessert and but couldn't get it because they said the sous chef went home.
Great food, fast service.
I had a TERRIBLE experience here. I have celiac and had been ordering here with my family for about 3 months at least once a week for carry out. My children who are 11 and 4 also have celiac and we initially liked their gf menu. On Mother's Day we ordered carry out and my husband picked up the order. When I opened my meal I noticed it wasn't' labeled GF so I decided to call and verify. The lady on the phone verified my fears that it had been made wrong and proceded to tell me that even though my husband was willing to make the 15 minute drive back that they weren't willing to accomodate me because they were closed. I told her it was my Mother's Day dinner and that I could hear a full restaurant of people but she refused. I hung up frustrated and hungry. My husband called back and explained that we were regular patrons and convinced them to remake the order. When he returned home I ate and noticed that it tasted a little different. In hindsight I should have stopped and realized this was a clue that something was different butter I was so hungry that I didn't. That night, I was as sick as I have been in years with a full on gluten attack that lasted into the next day. I am certain that the kitchen remade the meal with regular soy on purpose because we inconvenienced them by asking them to make the meal again after hours. Never mind the fact that it was wrong to begin with. I am just grateful that my children did not share or they also would have been terribly sick. We will NOT EVER patronize this place again. If you have celiac, go with caution. I question a place that would handle something so serious in such a careless manner.
I am Celiac, and very reactive to the least bit of gluten. I have been eating at LuLu's almost weekly for the past year and a half. I have ordered many items from their very extensive GF menu without experiencing any adverse reactions. The wait staff takes extra care with my ordering, and the kitchen staff is very attentive to proper handling and preparation of my food. I can't say enough good things about my dining experiences at LuLu's. Even the atmousphere is great! For a real treat, try the shrimp and pineapple fried rice!
