Luna's Ice Cream

Went to Luna’s on my lunch yesterday. SO good. A couple of my coworkers went also. They are so amazing. Had the best experience. They asked if anyone has any allergies to anything, so I raised my hand and said gluten. So they directed me to the GF case! An entire case is GF and/or vegan. Vegan being clearly labeled. They also said they have sanitized scoops that they can use. Use 2- first one to clear off the top layer and second one to scoop my ice cream. I said that would be perfect. I then wanted to try a sample, so they did the same thing with their metal sample spoons.

I felt VERY safe there. And also like it wasn’t an inconvenience for them to do this. Like it was just another person getting ice cream, which is something I’ve never encountered. I would 100% go again. Probably will next week actually. I had the salted Carmel truffle and coffee chip. YUM❤

Luna’s Ice Cream is new to the Milwaukie Marketplace Plaza. They have several gluten free flavors - all of which are delicious. My favorites are the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie and the GF Birthday Cake. They also have a long list of vegan flavors that I have yet to try. They do not have gluten free ice cream cones but I don’t mind since there are yummy GF baked goods mixed in to the flavors that I order most often. The owners are super nice and made an allergen menu that’s available for customers to view (which I’ll post in the photos). Their ice cream is just as good as (if not better than) Portland’s most popular ice cream shops. Definitely go check this place out and tell them Cedar sent you!
