My boyfriend has celiac and we went for dinner tonight and loved it! We were told the owner also has celiac. We got the fritto misto, potato and zucchini chips, lamb scottadito, swapped the bucatini dish for GF pasta, and the bombolino for dessert and everything was incredible!

I’m shocked that this place doesn’t have more reviews! They have many GF options and the server was aware of procedures taken in the kitchen. We had the fried calamari, fried zucchini and fried shrimp appetizer. It was all delicious! Yes, there is a dedicated fryer! We had the lobster pasta, veal shank and polenta and my son had pasta with butter and Parmesan. There were GF dessert options but we were too stuffed to have any. We made another reservation for today since it was such a great experience last night!

Luogo was great! They have clear labeled GF items on their menu but also “MGF” meaning something can be modified to be GF. We had a MGF appetizer (melon, prosciutto, and burrata) and I got a pasta with the GF noodles. Both were great! Staff was knowledgeable about celiac and ensured me pasta was cooked in separate water to avoid cross contamination. Would definitely go back!

Lots of gf options and food is delicious. Staff is aware of cross contamination. Have eaten here twice with no problems. Owner’s family has celiac so they are very aware. Great Nashville option!

Our first visit here was amazing. I had an incredible GF pasta dish, celiac safe fritto misto and arancini. But then we went back and our waiter told us the fryer wasn’t dedicated. I know the owner’s family is celiac so I was surprised. The waiter said he spoke to the kitchen and they confirmed it wasn’t safe. The owner came by and I asked him. He said the waiter was wrong and the frier was safe, but then the waiter warned me again that the kitchen told him it was a shared frier. I was not only disappointed but confused! I didn’t know who to trust! Needless to say we skipped the fried starters. But then my pasta came—it was the same dish I’d had before but was totally different and looked awful. So bad in fact that our waiter brought it out but said he didn’t think it looked good so he would be happy to get me something else. I ended up with a very bland plain red sauce. It was so disappointing after that first experience. I want to go back one more time but I’m so confused about the frier! Who should I believe?

Almost everything on the menu is GF or can be done GF! Including Arancini, which I’ve never had anywhere else. They also have gf donuts for dessert!
