I didn’t end up eating my fish and chips. The gluten fish is kept above the chips and lifted off over so it’s very easy for gluten to drop into the chip section. The staff don’t wash there hands before serving gluten free and had touched bread buns to make chip butties. I’m very sensitive to cross contamination so it just wasn’t worth the risk for me. My other half really enjoyed his fish and chips so I’m sure for gluten free (without coeliac) would be fine.

A little tricky to find ( not our area and sat nav not very helpful). Friendly staff but this chippy only offers GF on cod or Haddock and ONLY on Saturdays.
GF cod and chips was terrific and freshly cooked. For me as a non-GF spouse, they also did a great steak and kidney pie and tasty sausages. As a southerner was amazed that they had never heard of a savaloy though!

Amazing gluten and dairy free fish and chips! Highly recommended! Never had an issue with my allergy.
