I went here for a late lunch with high hopes. Overall I was disappointed, but it could have been the circumstances.
Their menu had clearly labeled GF items, however I asked a few questions when ordering and the person didn’t have any information. They did take the time to go to kitchen and ask, but their answers didn’t give me confidence. They were also out of grits, which is what I was hoping to order.
I still am unsure if they have dedicated fryer. She said the fried are GF, but I didn’t get a straight answer if the fryer is GF. They also offer GF blondies, but they make them on shared equipment and space as the rest of the bakery. This makes total sense, but doesn’t seem celiac safe so I deduced against.
Maybe on a different day with a more
Knowledgeable cashier, it would have been a better experience.
