Staff treated my allergies like they were no big deal at all. Food was really great!

I'm staying at the Days Inn, so I made use of the coupon for breakfast. The Steak & Egg Skillet came to the table (w/o tortillas) sizzling hot, and I was prepared for overcooked eggs. But not so! I don't know how they accomplished that!

No sure if celiac friendly, but I enjoyed their willingness to ask if gluten was present in their margaritas, which it isn't. I ate the Mad Mex Enchilada with grilled chicken and it was very good. They have an allergen list on their website. Overall, pretty impressed. Although the only negative would be the raspberry margarita could have been strained of all seeds. As far as gluten goes, they have some nice options.
Honestly this place just pissed me off. The hostesses were absolute air heads who said there was no tables available and continues to seat smaller parties who came in after us at the obviously empty tables after we said we would be split into two tables. The aforementioned airheads knew nothing about gluten free (we only asked them because they said we would have to order from the bar and get take out because there were no tables) a direct quote was, "Uh I think like the salads are.....?" Would not come here again.
Great gluten free menu, a few drinks to select from, and seemingly knowledgable staff. It is downtown though, so don't be in a huge hurry.
They are careful with gluten free and clearly marked my food gf in the kitchen. Plenty of options!

I've been going to Mad Mex forever. Their food is amazing. It's hard to order the gf options online unless you do pickup, but ypu can ask for corn tortillas instead of flour on most things.
I'm very gluten sensitive and not fully celiac, and I will eat out of the shared fryer so I can't comment on what that experience is. But I've never had issues when I specify that I can't have any gluten ingredients.

Mad Mex has been a go to for years since I was first diagnosed. Menu isn’t always marked but staff is knowledgeable. Their main gluten item is wheat tortillas and they can easily substitute for corn. Their chips are pre packaged and are safe. I always know this is a safe and delicious place to eat!

Ordered tortilla chips and salsa and steak/corn tacos. The waiter seemed at least somewhat knowledgeable.

No separate gf menu or markers on menu. Thought I could get hard tacos but could not since they do. It have separate fryers. Disappointed.
