Love this place and have a lot of corn tortilla options , might use the same frier not sure
I’ve been here for both dinner and brunch (yes they have brunch) and both times the bartenders and servers were very knowledgeable and accommodating. They don’t have a dedicated fryer (and they fry breaded seitan in it FYI), but the wings and all of their wing sauces are GF. I usually get the fajita burrito without the shell. For brunch I had the breakfast burrito (sans shell) and the home fries. Best strawberry margarita in town. Would highly recommend.

45 min wait for to-go. Asked to sub corn tortillas for flour and found after getting home that they weren't subbed, and that the beans and rice were left out. Save your time and stomach and go somewhere else!

Same awesomeness as Casbah across the street. Same owners = shared valet parking. Nice (loud) atmosphere. Great food. Happily made my grilled fish tacos gluten free by switching out the flour tortillas for corn ones.
I love love mad mex. I always get a bare-itto which is just the fillings in a bowl. They give very large portions. The chicken is marinated in beer so don't order that, I think the other meat is okay but I would double check with your server.
They are careful with gluten free and clearly marked my food gf in the kitchen. Plenty of options!

I've been going to Mad Mex forever. Their food is amazing. It's hard to order the gf options online unless you do pickup, but ypu can ask for corn tortillas instead of flour on most things.
I'm very gluten sensitive and not fully celiac, and I will eat out of the shared fryer so I can't comment on what that experience is. But I've never had issues when I specify that I can't have any gluten ingredients.

Mad Mex has been a go to for years since I was first diagnosed. Menu isn’t always marked but staff is knowledgeable. Their main gluten item is wheat tortillas and they can easily substitute for corn. Their chips are pre packaged and are safe. I always know this is a safe and delicious place to eat!

No separate gf menu or markers on menu. Thought I could get hard tacos but could not since they do. It have separate fryers. Disappointed.
