I was not able to get in on a busy weekend night, so I made a reservation for a Sunday afternoon when it was less crowded. Unfortunately, they had a buffet set up, and there were no labels indicating whether anything was gluten-free, and the person manning the buffet also didn't know. I was looking forward to sampling the authentic German food, but it was not being served at that time, and only the buffet was available. I left without eating and was very disappointing because I was visiting from out of town and really wanted to try the German food.

I came here excited to try gluten free German food, thinking that the Gf indication in the menu was promising. However, they don’t have German food made with GF flour. They just eliminate the gluten menu items and replace them with potatoes or leave off the breading or other items as necessary. It was disappointing but we went ahead with their offerings to eat something while there. The manager said they were going to talk to the manager about the menu because it is misleading.

I was there for a brunch buffet and although there were many delicious-looking items, I was not sure what would be safe for me. When I asked the server, he was happy to help. He brought out the chef who was the nicest man ever, he walked me around the buffet and showed me exactly what would be safe for me to eat and why. Then he surprised me with my own special little GF dessert he made just for me. I ate so many different things and didn't have ANY reaction although I am very sensitive.
All you have to do is make them aware and they will go out of their way to make sure you have a gluten-free experience. :)

They have the menu marked clearly, but I still recommend talking to the wait staff. I received a great recommendation about the best dishes when prepared gluten free. There are not many options, but there are several on the dinner menu.

No gluten free schnitzel, as was mentioned in someone else's review. However, the Reuben on gf bread was AMAZING. Also had the German potato salad as a side, which was really good. Didn't get sick.

Nice gluten free schnitzel option. Although I didn't feel that the waitress totally processed the information about my allergy. All turned out well, fortunately, but it makes me a tad nervous when they don't seem to truly hear what you're saying. Food was tasty.
My husband and I went for the Sunday brunch and it was delicious. They have made to order omelets and unlimited mimosas.
Food was good for the most part but was very heavy. They need to get gluten free bread.
