Madison's Pizza Cafe

My two boys and my dad went to see the Trevor Zoo in Millbrook, NY today, 11/7/2023, because the kids had off from school. I looked up pizza places near the zoo and this place sounded good. It’s a hole in the wall of a strip mall. The waitress didn’t write down the drink order and served each of us someone else’s drink. Then I told her I was GF and would like the GF chicken, bacon ranch pizza. She asked me if I wanted the side salad because the fries were fried in the fryer and would be contaminated. I said “yes, please. “ Out comes the chicken, bacon ranch wrap instead of the pizza. I said it was no big deal and was the sandwich GF, which she replied “no”. She took it back and had a new one made. Just odd that the waitress would remember about the fries/salad but not make the sandwich GF.

Ower seemed to care about our request to accomodate a wheat allergy and we didn't get sick. They went the extra mile to use seperate sauce and spoons.
