As of April, 2020 under new ownership. NO more gluten free options, no more dedicated GF area, not educated on GF needs. That all came directly from the new owner.

No more GF options and preparation available

Ii have tried this diner a couple of times over the last few years. I gave two stars because I have never gotten sick. The food is never very good and usually cold.

A regular stop for us on our way to and from NYC. Never had a problem. But they have several immigrant waiters for whom English is their second language so you have to make sure they understand your request. Today, Daniel was great. Food was great. Great GF bread and deserts.

We had been her in the past and were very happy. The baker that made desserts is gone. This time they crashed VERY HARD. My daughter is celiac and despite ordering very specific sandwich with GF bread they delivered one that is not and we did not discover until few bites in. I now have child who will be sick for days. Their answer is sorry. Stay away, these people are clueless.

I had no reactions to an omelet and gluten-free roll. Omelets are made in a special pan, not on the grill.

I was very disappointed by this diner. By the reviews here I expected much more. The server had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned needing a gf menu- not only do they not have a separate menu, their regular menu doesn’t have any notations as to what is gf. They do have gf breads. I ordered a grilled cheese w tomato. Pretty sure it was made w liquid cheese. Awful. I felt terrible that I made the rest of my party eat there as their dishes looked equally awful. I gave it two stars bc they did offer a few gf items and I didn’t get sick. Service was less than 1 star.

Gluten free bread for all of their dishes, from eggs Benedict to the Burger or the Reuben sandwich. Hey huge selection of gluten-free desserts, a huge crowd pleaser! Very pleasant and efficient service, nice ambience, we were in town for a week and literally went here 5 times (A couple breakfast and a few dinners).

This diner is great! Never in my life did I think I'd find a diner that is so accommodating to Celiacs. Gluten free pancakes and French toast! Gluten free burger buns! Separate fryer for the celiacs! And there is a top notch pastry chef who makes sure to create a gluten free version of almost any pastry on site. The Majestic is now my favorite NJ diner!

Dedicated gluten free fryer for breakfast potatoes and fries. Gluten free toast, muffins and a great selection of gluten free baked goods. The GF coconut cake was crazy good! And the regular food items were good to boot; omelettes, burger, steak and eggs, and so on.

They had a huge selection of bakery items as well as gf toast and fries (they said they use a separate fryer). They were very nice and seemed knowledgeable. I only had eggs and toast with fries. My husband and I shared the gf coconut cake 🍰 but their were so many other choices we will definitely be going back to try another dessert!! πŸ˜‹πŸ΄

Delicious! They have gf pancakes, rolls, fries, home fries, etc. The server I had knew the menu available and took care to be clear with me on what was gf. Get the home fries!

It's a Diner with more gluten friendly options than most any other restaurant in the area. GF bread, soups, dressings, and pastries. They even have a few baked goodies that they say are paleo. We ordered some egg dishes and were satisfied with them. The food was better and more unusual than one gets at the average diner. The service was better too. If I find myself in the area....I will likely return to The Majestic.

Not a pleasant experience, I had compete with hash browns and toast, was ok, wife had crab cakes, poached eggs, eggs rubbery, crab cakes did not taste good, only ate one, made her sick. Maybe an anomaly however would not go back. As far as GF, was ok, staff not very knowledgeable though, asked if salsa was GF, they had no idea.

Lots of breakfast items to choose from. I especially like their Huevos rancheros but their specialty omelettes are good too. They now have gluten free pancakes and toast. I like the pancakes with blueberries. Ask for real maple syrup, though there is an additional charge. They usually have at least one variety of gluten free muffins which are made in-house. Often there are Paleo cookies and treats as well. Now that they have gluten free bread and buns, you can order one of their sandwiches or have a burger and get to enjoy it on a bun. They serve breakfast all day so I often stick to that - because who doesn't love breakfast for dinner? Good, strong coffee too.

Majestic is our favorite local spot! The gluten free bread and rolls create a lot of options. Most, if not all, of their dressings are house-made and are therefore gluten-free. Their bakery has unbelievable gf things too!

The food was amazing!! I had a burger on a gluten free bun and vegetarian Chilli. It was incredible! The staff was very knowledgeable and willing to work with me and answer the questions I had about the menu. Just FYI: there is no Actual gluten free menu but the staff will tell you what's ok to have.
