Excellent place! The owners are wonderful- great service and great food. I had the chicken pesto pizza on the gluten free crust. They take great precautions, I felt very safe. My family loved their BBQ chicken pizza. After we were finished they brought cookies for my family and the insides of the cannoli for me- it’s the little things! Very reasonably priced as well! Do yourself a favor and stop here!

The BEST gluten free pizza I have ever had! Plus the husband and wife owners were both working and incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. I had the BBQ chicken pizza and the Italian Cheese Dip - both were super delicious! We even got free samples of desserts before we left. Make is a MUST if you are in San Diego!

Amazing care taken for celiac customers, things might take a bit longer but it’s SO worth it. Pizza is delicious and affordable, and the owner is extremely knowledgeable and kind letting you know your options. They really go above and beyond here. A new favorite I’ll visit every time I’m in San Diego - can’t miss!

I seriously can’t give this place enough stars. The owners are sweethearts and made me one of the best gluten free pizzas I’ve had just the us. Just the absolute freshest sauce outside my mom’s kitchen.

Great food and great owners!! Daughter is celiac and had no issues. Pizza and salad were so yummy. They understand cross contamination and they absolutely care about their guests. So glad we stopped in and will def be back next time in San Diego.

Had the best pizza here. Got the chicken pesto on a cauliflower crust. It was flavorful and reasonably priced for the quality and taste. The owners work there and are amazing people. Had great conversation. They were kind, friendly and informative. Took my celiac seriously and made sure to take every precaution. Food settled well without a hitch. At the end of my meal they gave me a cup with cannoli filling as a treat . This detail made my day as I LOVE cannolis but can’t have the shell. Overall, highly recommended for the food, safety and great service!

This place is awesome. I called for takeout and asked if it was safe for celiacs. The owner answered and walked me through their process. They offer two kinds of gf dough, a local traditional style and a cauliflower. He confirmed the pizza and salad I was interested in were safe for ingredients (we got the supreme pizza and the gorgonzola salad) and he said all gluten free pizzas are made on a separate surface and they use new utensils and gloves to prep. The owner was SO KIND he even threw in some free cannoli filling as it was gluten free. The pizza itself was also delicious. I’ve been hunting for a good gf pizza and this hit the spot plus they are super kind!

If you are looking for a delicious gluten free pizza, Make Pizza + Salad is for you! A local bakery makes their crust. It is excellent. (a cauliflower crust is also available) I loved their pizza sauce too. It is bursting with flavor. I ordered mine with my favs, mozzarella cheese, Italian sausage and mushroom. Yum! You can tell they only use high quality ingredients. Terry, the owner took my order. He is very gracious and kind. When he realized I was concerned about the size being too large, he was very accommodating and offered to make me a half sized pizza. That’s a first! I can’t wait to return next time I’m in town and highly recommend Make Pizza + Salad to one and all. You won’t be disappointed!

Make GF/Vegan pizza was delicious and they made sure it was both gluten and dairy free for me.

If you are also dairy free, avoid the white and pesto sauces, but the marinara sauce is both vegan and delicious, and so is the vegan cheese!
