Review of Makina Cafe Eritrean-Ethiopian Eatery

DISCLAIMER: This review is for the food truck, I have not been to the brick and mortar.

I went to the Makina food truck outside of Columbia University and asked if the injera was made with teff, they told me yes. I got very sick. It was later confirmed that they also use wheat flour. I’m not sure if this is the case at all their locations, but make sure to confirm with them/use caution when ordering the injera. They do also offer rice so can still be a great gf option, it was delicious food.
