Lovely cafe at the end of the pier. Good salads and they have gluten free buns for the burgers.

I went to the Cafe at the end of the pier. There is no GF menu nor is it marked, but the employee was knowledgeable and able to walk me through what I could eat. They do offer GF bread. The server confirmed the meal was marked GF when he brought it out. Not entirely sure on cross-contamination precautions as it is quick service and very busy, but I am a sensitive celiac and did not get sick.

This review is for the Malibu Farm Restaurant at the beginning of the pier, which has waiter service. (They also run a cafe at the end of the pier with more casual counter service and fewer hours).
After looking at their menu online, I planned to have the cauliflower crust pizza. However, it turns out they have them pre-made and can’t modify any of the ingredients, so I couldn’t eat it because it was gluten free, but had another ingredient I’m allergic to. So, I ended up having nachos instead, after checking that the tortilla chips were gluten free.
This place is manageable but not amazing on gluten-free food, but worth it for the location. (I wish people would add more reviews for Malibu restaurants!)
