Mama Pho

Didn’t really ask about the gluten thing a lot but they said the pho tai was fine. It was great! But they aren’t very knowledgeable or talkative at all.

I ordered Chicken Pho and shrimp spring rolls with rice paper. I asked the waiter if it was gluten free. He said yes. Food came out, and turns out the sauce for the spring rolls did have gluten. The waiter assured me I would be fine because it was just a little bit of gluten…

Sorry guys. Food was great, but definitely lacking in gluten/celiac awareness.

At first the server seemed confused on what celiac disease was but afterwards the manager took care of us. Had the beef pho and it was delicious. Huge portion as well

Pho is always my go to safe item when I am in a sea of gluten or a desert of information. Not knowing what was safe at Ala Moana Center, we headed to Mama Pho for a giant bowl of noodles with a healthy serving of meat. It was absolutely delicious paired with a Vietnamese ice coffee.
