I ordered the spaghetti marinara with GF pasta. I explained to my server that I’m Celiac and can’t consume any gluten. She acknowledged what I said. I had Celiac symptoms over the next day. The food was likely not gluten free.

The gluten free pasta was bomb. I got the penne carbonara, best pasta I have had in a while!

I don’t want to rate them too lowly but I did have a pretty bad experience. I talked with my waitress about how I was celiac, that I needed gluten free noodles and that it would be great if they could use a new pot, etc. She seemed very knowledgeable and said that would be totally fine, so I felt safe ordering.

My food came, and after five or so bites I noticed that there was spaghetti mixed in with my gf Penne pasta. I asked about it and she was very apologetic, made it clear that the spaghetti was not gluten free, and took my dish away so they could prepare another.

The second dish seemed fine, but the damage was already done. I was pretty sick the next day. Also, they didn’t comp the dish or even remove the gluten free upcharge.

Giving it 4 stars because they had some GF options and took measures like seperate pot of water for pasta to limit cross contamination. But our server on 1/4/20 (a young lady) wasn't very knowledgable about which items could be made GF and seemed to get annoyed with having to answer questions. Note there is a $2 upcharge for GF pasta. If you order a non-pasta entree, you cannot get GF pasta as one of your sides. I ordered a chicken parmesan w/o breading. It was OK, but nothing special. The house side salad was tasty once we ascertained it was GF. Best to make a reservation in advance if you want to dine there.

They did not have a gluten free menu but my server was completely on the ball and knew whether each item was gluten free. While I did not opt for pasta, they can make most pasta dishes gluten free. I had grilled chicken in a lemon butter sauce. Feel great several hours later. Will definitely be back.
