Not celiac safe. I was sick. Tasted good, but paid for it.

ordered the gluten free pizza and it tasted pretty good but it wasn’t until walking out after that i saw the sign saying that the gf pizza is prepped in a cross contamination area, but even without the sign i would have realized when me and my gluten intolerant mom spent the whole night sick. definitely more for preference than allergy

Pre cooked grab and go 1 topping pizza at this location. Crust tasted like a pastry/cracker. It was good and good toppings. Watch out-- toppings are pricey. It is baked on a pan and comes with its own cutter. Was great being able to have pizza with family.

Gluten free pizza is the size of a personal pizza and is still $20! Wish we were aware of that or I wouldn’t have ordered it. We didn’t have enough for our family.
They have a pre-made GF pizza that comes in it’s own pan with an individually wrapped pizza cutter. It is cooked in the same oven as the regular pizzas, but supposedly on the top shelf. I felt good about the precautions taken and I did not have any reaction, but I was underwhelmed by the crust and the taste of the pizza. It was dry, bland, and cracker-like. It was a pretty good size and it was nice to be able to eat with my family for a change, but I wouldn’t spend all that money to get it again.

Offers GF pie, baked in same oven. Pre-made crust in separate tin and comes with pie cutter wrapped in plastic sleeve. Be prepared to pay $30 but it is larger than most other pre-made crusts.

Came down for the week and ordered the gluten free pizza. Cook changed gloves before making it and it was cooked in a separate pan that was put in the takeout box along with a sealed disposable pizza cutter to avoid cross contamination with their cutters. Safest experience I’ve had with a restaurant offering gluten free pizza.

I love their pizza. The gluten free wasn’t as dry as a lot of gluten-free pizzas! Every celiac should try it atleast once!
Great option!

Gluten free crust that’s prepared on a separate pan. Hooray! They also included a safe pizza cutter so there’s no cross contamination. Now I know what all the fuss is about. This pizza is so good! The cheese and sauce are incredible. The gfree crust was fine. Not the best I’ve had, but overall, it’s worth a trip!
Best gluten free pizza on the boards.!! It was prepared in its own pan and the crust was 12" crispy on edges and done in the middle. Lots of toppings. Great service and no issues 👍
This was a joke. We had pizza delivered and my “gluten free” crust wasn’t even cooked all the way through. It ended up going right in the trash can. Huge disappointment since this used to be the “go to” pizza place. The pizza was always a little greasy but this was over the top ridiculous. Couldn’t pay me to eat here...
No
There is no dedicated fryer for French Fries here. The pizza is gluten free but cooked in the same oven as the other pizzas. I did not have any issues eating the pizza.
I mean, of course there’s going to be cross contamination! But if you’re able to handle that it’s great to have a gf option when everyone wants to go here!

They have gluten free crusts that are cooked in their own pans, while it didn’t make me sick, it was hands down the worst pizza (gluten free or otherwise) I have ever tasted. The crust was under-cooked and the toppings were awful. The cheese and pepperoni were a terrible grease soaked congealed mass on top. It’s sad when an under-cooked gluten free crust was the best part.
Yes
This is not safe for celiacs at all. They say there crust is gf but the chefs use reg flour to dust it and place the crust on reg flour.
No
They may have a gluten free pizza crust but they don’t have a designated gluten free area

Blatant disregard for cross contamination issues. Use the same cheese and no gloves. Owner was nice though and comped the pizza for us. No dedicated fryer either. Avoid if you have celiac!!
No
The pizza is made with the same flour covered hands as the gluten pizza, using the same cheese that is contaminated. The staff did warn us it went in the same oven & is made in the same area as gluten pizza. Fortunately we sat at counter & watched the whole thing happen.

Had the much anticipated gf pizza last night and sadly, it just wasn't any good. The crust was had no flavor and was like cardboard (like many other gf pizza crusts). It was the first time in 20 years that I was able to eat anything at Manco & Manco but many brands of frozen gf pizza are much better.
really good gf pizza! it's a little bit thinner than their normal pizza. it doesn't take too long to take and it comes with a brand new pizza cutter you can take home to eliminate cross contamination. overall really good, highly recommend!
Manco and Manco is an OC favorite from my childhood I haven't been able to eat for 6 years BUT this Summer 2017 they have added an expanded menu at their new larger location on 9th and boardwalk. They have a dedicated fryer for french fries and a gluten free pizza you can customize (the gluten free pie is not listed on the menu yet but I confirmed it is offered at all boardwalk locations with the main stock at the 9th street store so this is your best bet as the other locations run out). The pizza is baked in it's own individual pan and served with a wrapped pizza cutter to avoid cross contamination. I enjoyed the taste of my childhood and had no issues after eating my gf white pizza with broccoli. I will be back the next time I am on the boardwalk!
