Mandarin Taste

Mandarin Taste has a gluten free menu. I have eaten there many times without experiencing a reaction. Their staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend their Singapore Noodle, pineapple fried rice, and mixed vegetable chicken.

Called to order my fave off GF menu, as well as a new item that’s listed on menu at restaurant as GF. I was told on phone by the Owner that both are incorrect, both fish dishes have been made with flour and fried. Note: Since I’ve had this dish before, it has not had a batter on it and specifically says on menu it’s stir fried, not fryer fried. I have also not broken out in rash which is telltale sign of gluten/wheat for me. That said, I cannot trust this restaurant or what they say or what’s printed on menu. If you are celiac, be warned. Better knowing for certain without wishy washy answers. Told them to remove from all menus and review how they do business.

Had really good GF fried rice. Not dedicated menu, but hostess went through everything that could be done GF. Options were a little limited but very tasty. Good result

Mandarin Taste is located at 61st Sheridan SE corner, an authentic Chinese restaurant that serves real Beijing style Chinese food. they have a lot of gluten-free dishes, they do not use MSG in their food, the restaurant environment is clean and nice, they serve very high quality food with very reasonable price. overall it is a place who loves real Chinese food defiantly need to go. Highly recommend!
