Mangiamo Wood Fired Pizza

My daughter (celiac) ordered GF penne and vodka sauce. They claimed the sauce was GF. She found a linguine noodle in her dish towards end of the meal. They must have used same water and didn’t clean it out. She was sick all night.

Please be very careful here! The menu looks like it has more gluten free options than it actually does. Although gluten free pasta is offered, both the vodka sauce and the garlic alfredo sauce contain flour. I have come in multiple times thinking that those options were safe, as both my server and the chef she checked with said they were, but on this most recent visit I found out both the chef and the server were mistaken. Either that or different chefs use different recipes, I'm really just unsure. The gluten free pizza option is truly gluten free, but I would say in comparison to Blaze Pizza in Rapid City, or Cruizzers in Keystone, it's simply just okay. Be aware, and protect yourself accordingly.

Very tasty GF pasta and cauliflower crust pizza, but GS husband did get a little sick after. Server was very conciencious and ordered salad without croutons. Wish I could recommend it higher because it was so tasty, but want all to be safe!

When I asked about gluten free food, they brought out the kitchen manager who recommended which pasta sauce to order. The gluten free pasta is cooked in a separate pot. The kitchen manager brought out my pasta while wearing gloves, and our server brought out all the other orders. Everyone was helpful, and the food was delicious. I had pasta with garlic, olive oil and shrimp, and an amazing salad with their gluten free Italian dressing
