Manna Taste of Mediterranean

Food was delicious and owner was mostly knowledgeable. Most food was gluten free when served without a pita. However, it is no longer all GF like a previous review. They fry chicken fingers, so the frier is contaminated. They also have some desserts that are not GF.

Positive experience today. I will have to say, as my husband is a pastry chef, and I am used to kitchens, this was not the cleanest kitchen I’ve ever seen.

On the plus: I am celiac. Hyper-sensitive to cross contamination. I ate the chicken kebab plate with rice and the side salad. I ordered garlic and tzatziki sauce as well. I did not get sick. For those with this intolerance, anxiety will accompany any meal but the woman running the shop seemed very sure in her response to “are you able to take steps to prevent all cross contamination from my meal?” and was very friendly about it too!

For what I had, it made me feel normal, like I could eat out with my husband and not feel awkward and apart of a meal out of the house! It was pretty decent Greek food in Henderson, NV.

Tables were not super clean, nor the floors or kitchen but I had a safe meal. 😊

The don’t make the pita there which is the only gluten item. Felt very safe and the shrimp was amazing

Lovely mom and pop shop with good, quick food. Know what’s what when it comes to gluten free. Lots of options.

Celiac friendly?

My son and I really, really enjoyed the Greek salad with a chicken kabob on the side. The woman who took our order was very friendly and I was confident she understood gluten. The order took a while to prepare but it was worth it. We found Manna while traveling so I’m disappointed we may only get to eat here once!

The staff understood celiac, and were clear that pita was the only item with gluten (including pizza using pita crust). Ordered the gyro plate which came without the pita. The food was prepared to order, which surprised me for what seemed to be a “fast food” environment. Will be back for sure.

The food is excellent. Great flavor and quality. They understand about gluten sensitivities and I have never been sick there.

I have eaten here twice in the last five years when in Vegas. Delicious! I am super sensitive and haven't gotten sick. Mom and Pop restaurant well worth the 10 mile drive from the strip.

My husband said this was the best meal he's had on our trip. I asked for help ordering since I am also dairy free and she suggested the chicken kabob which i had with rice and salad. She made sure no dairy on my plate. My husband had chicken shwarma with great hummus and yogurt and salad. The owner told me 80 percent of their food is gluten free. Lots of regulars eating there

The food was excellent. Great price. The owners are very friendly and they know what is in their food and where it comes from. They have true gluten free falafel made only with garbanzo beans, made from scratch. Other falafel comes from a bulk supplier with up to 30% bread crumbs-wheat. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5- the pita(not gluten free) still came on our plates. We probably could have communicated that better, that we didn't want it.

The Best home made Mediterranean food ever. As good or better than I had when I traveled to the Mediterranean region.
