I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who can’t eat gluten. When I asked what options they had, they said I could have chips, unseasoned chicken or beef, rice, and beans. Who would want to order unseasoned chicken or beef? I ended up deciding to leave. The restaurant also smelled like smoke and looked unclean. Even if they had more options, I don’t think I’d trust it to be safe from cross-contamination.

This place was pretty good. I don’t think the waiter really knew what gluten was but the moment that I said “Allergy” he was very attentive to my orders and erred on the side of caution for anything he wasn’t sure on. That being said, the chips, salsa, and queso are all gluten free! I ended up ordering a chicken breast and rice and put queso on top for a weird off the menu (and assembled at the table) pollo loco. No reaction to the food after twenty minutes either with a very high sensitivity so full marks from me!
