Review of Marinelli's Pizza

Tonight was our first time trying Marinelli's and it was AWESOME. My son has celiac so we're always a little anxious when trying a new place. Once we asked about gluten free items, the owner came out without us even asking, and he explained to us how he and the staff are all trained on GF cooking and cross-contamination issues. He said just about any entree could be made gluten free-- so right there we were very happy. My son started with the GF mozzarella sticks. He was so happy since those were the first mozzarella sticks he's had in almost a year since he was diagnosed. For his entree he had GF penne w/ vodka sauce. Penne was a rice pasta and was cooked perfectly. The sauce was just as perfect, and overall, this was the best Italian meal he's had in the last year! All of the non-GF food was also very fresh and top notch. With such a friendly and knowledgeable owner and staff, we'll definitely be coming back as regulars to Marinelli's. My only regret is that it took us so long to try this place! :)

Hint: if you're going during normal weekend dinner hours, call ahead and make a reservation. Not a lot of tables inside and the place fills up quickly since it's so good!
