Marketplace Tavern

I am BEYOND disappointed with my experience at the market place tavern in Litchfield. First we waited 30 minutes to even get water let alone our drink orders. It took a hour after to get our appetizer. I made sure i made my allergies were stated clear which are onion and garlic and gluten and wheat but they messed it up and put onions and there was a piece of fried chicken in my food. As i am allergic to both i told them ahead of time. They told me they will remake it they gave me a frozen bun with food that looked un edible and frozen. The food was like it was done in a freezer. I am disappointed this was for my graduation of me and my 6 other graduates. Then there were maintenance people working on a room. I am highly upset and disappointed along with everyone there!

Staff is knowledgeable and menu is excellent with many options. One of my favorites. I’ve never been sick.

Yes

We've eaten there twice this summer with our daughter who has CD. The menu has a lot of GF options and the staff is knowledgeable about cross-contamination. Very good food ... highly recommend.
