Wasn’t sure about the GF options. I ordered the salmon and told the wait that I have celiac. The waiter was receptive and said he would check with the kitchen, but that he was pretty sure it would be safe. The waiter said that he will make a note of it.
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Not Much/None
Service was very slow. It took about 10 minutes before I was given a gluten free menu. Server had no knowledge of what gluten was and was very unsure about the handling of the food. Finally spoke to a manager and they assured me that the meal I was ordering (duck) could be prepared gluten free and there wouldn’t be any cross contamination. They ended up bringing my meal to me on the same tray at an order of Mac and cheese. I got sick within an hour.
They have a gf menu and the food is excellent, but I had issue with the server. I specified I had a gluten allergy and ordered the same salmon as someone else who didn’t need gf. When the food arrived the server couldn’t tell which was made for myself, but said it didn’t matter because both were naturally gluten free and she never had anyone with an issue. Turns out the salmon was grilled on the same spot as bread. I tried explaining how that wasn’t okay and asked for foil underneath when grilling, but she didn’t seem to understand. In the end she recommended salmon baked in the oven and I just went with it. She came back and essentially said it was my fault for the issues, so I asked if it wasn’t enough to say I had a severe allergy, and she said no. But the baked salmon was terrific and I did not get sick, and she did half apologize.
Our waitress was very knowledgeable about Celiac and assured us the Chef and food staff were very careful about preventing cross contamination. We felt very comfortable eating there and will definitely go back ! The food was good!!!

Yes, they have a GF menu but the knowledge is hit or miss. When I turned down the bread basket at the bar the bartender rolled his eyes! When I asked if there was a gluten free menu (I knew there was) he said I think so let me check. Rather than go through the ingredients of the ranch dsg on the wedge salad I asked to hold the dsg. He said "you want 3 pieces of lettuce with some tomato". No tip. Be careful!
No
Love Marshside for many reasons, been going there for years. Decent GF options for adults but although my 9 yo daughter does very well with swordfish/salmon vs. chicken fingers/mac and cheese they would not offer a kids portion of anything on their gf menu. I (as usual) had to buy a $27 entree for my 9 year old.
The food was excellent. Not overly fancy but perfectly cooked. The gluten free menu was decently sized and they understood gf and celiac well. Would absolutely return. Go during the off season if possible. Very busy during summer.

Nice restaurant with a gluten free menu. I was told there would be no cross contamination. Food was good and I did not get sick. I would recommend discussing your food needs with them upon arriving because the place can be busy.
