After asking at 2 other airport restaurants and deciding it wasn't safe, I took a chance to ask about the Cobb salad on the menu at Matt's. I shared I have celiac disease, the server knew what that meant and told me she would "prep" the kitchen, meaning, it would be marked as for a celiac and they would change gloves.

My husband and I both ordered Cobb salads (to avoid any possible confusion between our orders). We got the salad without chicken because it is cooked on the shared grill (the bacon is cooked on a separate grill).

The cook brought out the salads himself and explained he freshly cut all the veggies for the salad in order to take every precaution. I was so happy and relieved!

The salads tasted great and I was not glutened. Such a gift for a travel-weary girl in need of any sort of dinner.
