My husband and I went last night for dinner. Looking the kitchen I did not feel comfortable with cross contamination. Food aside one of the staff in charge of clearing the table had head phones in and moving quickly around the restaurant doing what I thought to be singing, which caught my eye. Next thing I know he came up to our table and yelled at me to stop fucking looking at him. I was by no means staring at this man. Even if I had been staff yelling at customers or anyone yelling at anyone is never appropriate. I was terrified, my husband in his seat had his back to the restaurant so he was prepared to quickly turn around in case of emergency. In this world, you know it just takes the wrong person on the wrong day for things to get bad quickly. As the meal went on we both understand this man absolutely has a mental illness. He continued to yell and curse loudly as he moved around the restaurant. We still hurried out on high alert. While I appreciate that this man is trying to make an honest living I felt extremely unsafe. If you are a single woman, or a group of women I would choose another restaurant. If you are a person who scares easily, I would choose another restaurant. If you are gluten free... you guessed it, choose another restaurant.
