Maui Gelato

So disappointed! We should have read more reviews. We sure were looking forward to those waffles. The gelato and ice cream were just average.

Dairy free and gluten free sorbetto, well labeled. Super delicious and so creamy for being dairy free. My mouth waters thinking about it!

We went here because they used to have the best gluten free waffles, but unfortunately, that is no longer the case. No gluten free waffles are served here anymore. 🙁

Covid update 12/27/20: No gf waffles, apparently there is a supply issue. We were bummed for sure, but the gelato was well labeled and my kids enjoyed it.

Totally backed away from gluten free labeling when I said I had celiac disease. If you’re truly sensitive doesn’t seem like this is a place for you.

This place was awesome! They had gluten free waffles (and a dedicated place to make them). They also had many gluten free ice cream options. The staff was also knowledgeable.

They have a dedicated waffle iron for gluten free waffles. Amazing waffles. My celiac daughter was in heaven with them. They also have clearly listed choices for dairy and gluten free gelato etc. they were very knowledgeable about gluten free.

This was amazing! Had the sampler waffle and the owner let me swap one of the flavors to get the banana Nutella - so good!!! The strawberries were so fresh and the apple cinnamon was great.

Waffles are delicious and filling with so many topping options. Smoothies are great too. Knowledgeable staff when ordering bacon and told it wasn’t cooked in a dedicated skillet. Saved us from getting sick!

The waffles here are awesome! I got the sampler, which has 4 different kinds of toppings and it was great! They have a separate gf waffle press but it does take about 10-15 minutes for it to heat up. Also fair warning they will not open a new container of ice cream or gelato for allergies so if cross contamination is an issue, I would stay away from those, but the waffles are a must!!

Had gluten free waffles and didn’t get sick. I just had butter and powdered sugar on mine. Nice little spot to get breakfast!

One of the fluffiest, yummiest gluten-free waffles I’ve ever had! Staff was super friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about my GF needs. They also have some incredible gelato, including a huge variety of non-dairy options. SO good! I’m only sad I didn’t come here more during our vacation!

It’s great for gluten free as they say they have a dedicated waffle maker. And the waffles were fabulous.

But I could not give them 5 stars because they are not nice people that work there. Made a mistake on my husbands order and never acknowledged it; nor asked how they could resolve it; or even possibly admit they made the mistake not him. No apologies. So my husband never even got to eat! Bad customer service.

Staff was very knowledgeable about gluten. Her told us that they wash all equipment before coming a gluten free waffle, but they can't guarantee is Celiac friendly because the equipment is used on other goods before hand.

I think it speaks volumes that he knows enough about Celiac food prep to mention that.

The peanut butter banana waffle was amazing. Ate here twice and got it both times. By far best gluten free waffle I've had and one of the best waffles I've had prior to getting diagnosed with celiac disease. They have a separate waffle maker and a separate cutting board for gluten free. This is a must for breakfast in Maui.

A delicious place to get GF (& DF) ice cream & Belgian waffles. They have a separate waffle maker for the GF waffles. Pricey but worth the peace of mind. Staff friendly too

GF waffles are amazing!! They're made in a separate waffle iron. We went here several times during our trip without issue. My husband who isn't Celiac/GF tried a bite & was blown away by how delicious they were. Will definitely indulge again on our next trip! Ps: the gelato is yummy too!

A must go! We treated ourselves to breakfast one morning and it was the best GF waffle I've ever had!

The waffle and blended coffee drink I had was to die for! I could finish it all and lord knows I tried. I had to be rolled out of there very happy to have found a place to get a great breakfast out. It's been so long!
