Mawa's Kitchen

Mawa’s has numerous GF and/or vegan options, and staff is knowledgeable about the menu as well. You should note your restrictions with your server in case of substitutions. But those substitutions are wonderful - the GF bread is some of the best I’ve ever had. Not only is it safe but Mawa’s also has one of the most unique menus in all of Colorado. A really special place to eat!

This place is a hidden gem for a GF breakfast in Aspen.

I had the French Toast with a side of bacon. It was the best French toast I’ve had since being diagnosed with celiac.

This is a great place. Check it out.

Contacted management, even though they review their own restaurants and say celiacs safe, even though they hashtag celiac safe on Facebook, they responded to my email saying they are not celiac safe!!!!!! They don’t attempt to minimize cross contamination!!!

This place is true to the previous positive reviews. The food (GF French Toast w/berry compote) was delicious. The bacon, while a little crunchy, was tasty without being too salty. And the server was knowledgeable and helpful. Very pleasant outdoor dining available.

Best Gluten Free Place in Aspen!

This place is amazing! The food is fabulous! They have a dedicated gluten free bakery that supplies their gf baked goods and they will substitute their wonderful gf bread - which is fabulous! We were really surprised they were not listed on this app! Thank heavens I found them at the Farmers market Saturday in Aspen with all their gf baked goods and even some wonderful gf and vegan chocolate chip cookies! We are coming back for breakfast on our way out of town tomorrow!!
