They say they are GF but they are not!

It was not GF at all

When asked the woman stated everything was GF except their burritos. I got sick on my vacation 😞

We were very disappointed in Maya, especially with the positive reviews here. The place was small and a bit off the beaten track, which we knew, but the food was bland and tasteless, and was not well prepared, with problems like hunks of stringy cheese in the enchiladas. The staff seemed to be aware of gluten issues, and so far everything seems to have been OK, but as Mexican restaurants go Maya is far down the list.

Very good food! Staff informs one what has gluten in it. Most sauces are gluten free. Nice, quaint family-run business with friendly personnel.

This is a small family owned restaurant, they don’t have items labeled on their menu as gluten free but they have a sign on their door that says they are gluten free. They use corn starch instead of flour in their sauce and are very knowledgeable. I eat here once a week and they have the best fish tacos!!
