We stayed at the hotel this past weekend and ended up using hotel credits we had for dining to eat two brunches and a dinner at The Mayrose. The dinner menu has lots GF options—nearly all protein entrees are already/can be modified to be GF, and some of the apps were safe. Our server was really knowledgeable but still doublechecked my order with the kitchen staff to confirm safe prep/cooking. I ordered the crispy pan-roasted salmon that came with a roasted red pepper risotto and braised rainbow chard. It was all really tasty and cooked well. We also split a charcuterie plate (omitting the bread that typically comes with it) and everything on the plate was fantastic! My partner ordered the pastrami wrapped smoked beef rib that was a GF too, so I tried a bite of that, the mustard sauce that came with it, and the hot German potato salad—all really, really good. No reaction afterward and great service.
Brunch was a bit more limited in teens of options, but equally tasty. The only Celiac-safe brunch item is a keto plate that comes with a huge amount of perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, a small arugula/grape tomato salad, some sliced mini bell peppers, half an avocado, thick bacon, and GF toast! (Our server confirmed the GF toast would be cooked on a separate pan under the salamander, so no there were toaster cross-contamination worries.) The restaurant manager brought our food out and confirmed the safety of the prep. It was really good and the service was even better. They also had a coffee bar to order lattes to-go it with your meal and had 3 alternative milks. No reactions after any of the meals, we’ll definitely be back.
