McAllisters now offers a gluten free bread to be substituted on any of their sandwiches for a small up charge
I needed help because I wasn't able to download the gluten free menu and the staff really didn't know what I could order and didn't have a physical menu I could look at. I decided a plain baked potato was probably safe but when my order came out the potato had cheese and bacon on it. I would have gladly eaten it if they could tell me if it was gluten free because I was starving but they returned it for a plain potato with butter and sour cream on the side. They proceeded to tell me the next time I came to order a justaspud. I feel if a business has a gluten free menu the staff should be able to tell you what what is on it or be minimally be polite and not treat customers rudely when they get an order wrong. Make sure you know before you go what's gluten free because the staff isn't helpful.
Staff does not seem to understand gluten free. They also do not carry the gluten free bread at this time.
From VA visiting the area. Loved their baked potatoes. Precaution was take.

I had a gluten free sandwich and the bread was good. It was soft and didn’t fall apart. There also salads and baked potatoes that are gluten free. The menu has an icon to show which items are gluten free. None of the soups or desserts are gluten free, sadly.

Absolutely amazing. They asked if it were an allergy or preference and when I told them I had celiacs they immediately told the kitchen. These sandwiches are amazing. The bread is so good. Highly recommended.
