Staff had zero clue about gluten free. Menu existed but was limited. I had no comfort with their ability to avoid cross contamination. Seemed a hassle for them. Will not return
Beware - they take menu options that are served normally and modify them slightly to be gluten free. I have orders come as they are presented on the normal menu and not gluten free before. I even had to tell my sever it wasnt gluten free
Good GF menu. Enjoyed the ribs.
Not gluten free, not celiac safe.

I've eaten frequently at McKenzie's and I've never had an issue with any of my meals. I do not order fried foods at any establishments so I haven't encountered the same issues as other users. I've had many salads, fish entrees and burgers without buns.

Be cautious when ordering - there are items marked GF that have elements cooked in a shared fryer. I got the burrito bowl and made sure to check about the chips - first they told me that they fried those before stuff with gluten and then when I asked them to check, they weren’t sure so they left them off. I had a safe meal there, but I just had to make sure to ask the right questions.

This used to be a fairly safe place to eat but my last visit changed my opinion. At the recent visit my meal arrived with a non GF tortilla chip in it. They changed the side dish area where it was located and returned with the meal. As I was eating I found a fried calamari on the plate. The manager commented that since the restaurant is only “gluten friendly” things like this happen. I would not recommend eating here to anyone with Celiac disease!
