MDI was amazing. They had a great selection of gluten free options and the menu is clearly marked. Great view of the bay. It was also very reasonably priced.

Delicious casual walk up style seafood and BBQ. The fried fish is to die for. GF batter and a dedicated frier along with GF buns and bbq make the choices challenging for a celiac. My wife had the pulled pork and I crushed the fried haddock plate. The fish was the size of my chest and came with delicious fries and corn. Clam chowder was okay and also GF. They have a good selection of seltzer, cider, canned cocktails and wine too. They also have a dog friendly outdoor area overlooking the harbor. Dogs are not allowed in the tented main dining area.

Delicious lobster meals with a ton of meat in the shell. Much better than neighboring Beal’s. Nice location, relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Plus the fact that they have gluten free fried clams, which my sister was able to enjoy for the first time in 20 years, is incredible!

Best fried haddock I’ve had in the 2 weeks in Maine. Fried shrimp was yummy too. Lots of gluten free options and food options. Husband had BBQ ribs and baked beans with brisket. Had gluten free buns for rolls and sandwiches and gf fried foods.
