First I would like to thank everyone who took the time to write a review for Meat & Cheese Restaurant and Farm Shop. When a client suggested us eating lunch here I did my quick search to see what my risk might be. After reading other members’ reviews I agreed to eating at this establishment. Being celiac it is very difficult finding a restaurant where I can eat fear free. However after speaking to the staff here at Meat & Cheese, I would like to let others now how Celiac safe this establishment really is. Nothing goes into the fryer here that is not gluten free. Today I had fried chicken bites that ere absolutely delightful. I arrived at the restaurant too late to order the fried chicken sandwich hat comes on gluten free bread that is made in house. Bread that other reviewers have raves about in other reviews. The staff here at Meat & Cheese informed that the chef’s wife is celiac and the chef maintains a celiac safe kitchen just like he does at home. I hope while I’m here in Aspen on this trip I will get an opportunity to try the gluten free bread.; hopefully on a fried chicken sandwich. My mouth is watering just thinking about the fried chicken bites I had at lunch. I’m already looking forward to my next trip to Aspen to dine here once again.
