The food was great! The service was not so great. There was a Mom with a small child and two newborns under 3 months and it was freezing outside. She asked to close the door and the owner said in a while and never closed the doors. The only thing gluten free was Audi’s toast and the vegetable egg bowl and a yogurt Muesli dish. The establishment is small with 8 tables, two of them with only seating for 2.

Was our first stop as soon as we got in. We were hungry after our 2 hour ride from neighboring Connecticut. We both ordered lamb sandwiches. My husband ordered some fries with his. I had my sandwich with gluten free bread. Since they don't have a gluten free dedicated frier, I couldnt order fries. The sandwiches were good.

Staff was flustered. Breakfast was ok, waiter was rude. We did come in with a large party (9) but he was dismissive and short with the whole party. Not sure we will go back.

Really nice and laid back vibe. Checked all allergies carefully.

I had an awesome omlette here last week and will definitely return when in town. The owner was fun and engaging, adding to the laid back atmosphere.

Excellent food and coffee and amazing staff! They take celiac very seriously. Will definitely be coming back when in town. My Nima sensor found no gluten In my meal!

Co owner is gluten intolerant and I had an excellent meal here with accommodation. The Lot burger. Grass fed (I can't eat meat that isn't). Super knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, have eaten there multiple times and have never been sick.

Be prepared to wait on the weekend...but wait you should! Because the staff is charming and the food is excellent. The menu offers a BLT or BLAT. They gleefully made me a BLA (bacon lettuce avocado) on Yummy GF bread. I had a strawberry banana smoothie too. My (non GF) friend had a veggie toastie and an Aussie iced coffee (wow) and she said it was great. A+ for Megs!

Friendly and knowledge about GF foods. The whole family enjoyed their meals which is tough when you have a 12 year old with Celiac. Will definitely go again when visiting family.

Great place for breakfast! Owners are knowledgeable about gf and there are plenty of food choices! A must for breakfast if visiting Newport!

My go to spot in Newport for breakfast and lunch. They are GF knowledgable and accommodating.
