They made my food in the back, no noodles but still a full meal! Everything was delicious and I had no reaction. Could not eat soup, salad, or use the dipping sauces but the meal was delicious and came out as soon as everyone else’s Hibachi dinner was done!

I called and placed an order for hibachi shrimp gluten free. I specifically mentioned a serious gluten allergy and asked if they would change gloves/use clean cookware. They assured me they would. When I got home, there were noodles in the order. I called and the manager said the chef used gluten free soy sauce. Would not recommend. The staff at akira seems much more familiar with celiac.
No
Our meal was delish! Just make sure you are very verbal to all staff about needing everything GLUTEN FREE. I only give 4 stars because waitress did not inform us that the cucumbers they brought to the table when they seated us were NOT gluten free. We told them we were gluten free and they brought it out anyway. Good thing we asked the staff if it was gluten free before we ate it.....
Gluten free soy sauce is available.
Yes
Great sushi and they have gluten free soy sauce
Yes
GF soy sauce was available and was knowledgeable about what was used in the making of their rolls and entrees. The waitress was not hesitant to check with the chef to make certain.
